I am surprised that people come here to this spume of drivel and the way they find me often provokes amusement. Over twenty people this month have found me searching for 'toddler hairstyles'/'toddler boy hairstyles', a result of my post in April about a change of style. Personally, I think I have a great toddler hairstyle, it is terribly practical and easy to maintain. It also doesn't require expensive trips to the hairdresser that would only leave me lamenting my thinning hair. Whether it helps those who have been searching for it and found my site is difficult to know....

Yet more people have found this spume of drivel by searching for 'toddler hairstyles'. If my advice is to be followed it would seem that a toddler hairstyle would be thinning hair. More generally, I am very pleased with the new lack-of-hair style. Now it is all shaved off I do get a bit cold when it is cold out, but it is much easier to manage and wash the sand out when I've been playing in a sandpit.

dasBlog and my server keep a track of where people come from in order to visit this spume of drivel; it appears that lots of livejournal users find People with AIDS plaza to be the funniest thing they have seen in a period of time. A worryingly large number of people are visiting the spume of drivel thanks to those people half-inching my picture. Not that I mind the picture being spread around in the slightest as I thought it was hilarious too. Mind you, I thought that whole trip was hilarious, the bits that I remember, anyway.

I do worry that if lots of people come here they might well be expecting something the spume of drivel cannot deliver, and they'll leave feeling let down that there was little here beyond highly articulate outbursts and references to soft toys. Not that anyone could possibly feel let down by Butter, I hope.

On a related note, looking at the logs once again I note that Yahoo! thinks I am the fourth best source of information on toddler boy hairstyles. I am flattered that Yahoo! takes my style suggestions so seriously but I do wonder what the people doing those searches think when they arrive at the spume of drivel.

Well, another trip to the face-zapping clinic. The pain is really quite eye-watering, but nowhere near as un-nerving as when they lovely bint who zaps me burst into tears because I said something nice to her after her boss had said something nasty to her earlier in the day. I am but a toddler, such social awkwardness has me blushing and hiding behind my teddy bear.

Butter is not, I hasten to add, a teddy bear like the one reported here. I am not saying there is anything wrong with such teddy bears, and I can understand the idea that "A kiss is just a kiss but a thrashing throbs for days" might attract some people, but I'd much rather have a cuddle and gurgle happily whilst someone holds my bottle. I like being good and think I am far less intolerable when smiling than when howling incoherently with discomfort.

As I was staggering about London I noticed a problem with my new North-London intellectual/neo-Nazi thug/Romanian orphan look in that when it is cold and raining my head is suddenly less warm than once it was. I am not a big fan of being cold or rained upon, so was pleased when someone reminded me that I posses a hat.
Look at those rosy cheeks glowing with the warmth of a hot head

I had purchased this solely to wear on my next skiing trip, yet as I have not been skiing for many, many years I wondered if I would ever get to use it. Now I have an incentive to stick with the haircut as next winter I will be able to walk around London using my teddy-bear ears to send jaunty signals to random passers-by.

Coming home from day-care to find that one's hair is filled with bits of clay, crayons and sand is a terrible problem. Even if "No more tears"-formula is being used, I still don't want my hair washed. So, as promised but a period of time ago, a new look:

Normally I am very happy to be changed, but sometimes I just get bored and embark on a different kind of change that leaves me feeling less comfortable than the type of change all toddlers require regularly.

By way of illustration, one terribly dull afternoon a few years ago in an effort to kill time before meeting a friend down at the boozer I went and had this done. For a surprisingly long time afterwards I did feel quite silly, but I am pleased my current passport picture looks a bit more amusing than the last one.

As early as Sunday afternoon a similar change is planned. I imagine I shall regret being a silly toddler with no sense of restraint, but I am a toddler so I have little choice. The good thing about this transformation is that it will require me to drop around to the abode of a couple of other babies. When in happy surroundings, babies frequently have a relaxing time.
